Robert Alan "Rob" Morrow (born September 21, 1962) is an American actor best known for his roles as Don Eppes on the television series Numb3rs and as Dr. Joel Fleischman on the 1990s television series Northern Exposure.

Morrow was born in New Rochelle, New York, of Jewish ancestry,[1] the son of Diane Francis (née Markowitz), a dental hygienist, and Murray Morrow, an industrial lighting manufacturer.[2]His parents divorced when he was nine. He grew up in MiamiFlorida, and attended Miami Sunset Senior High School, but dropped out at the beginning of his senior year to begin his acting career.[3] He married actress Debbon Ayer in October 1998, and together they have a daughter named Tu Simone Ayer Morrow.

Morrow played the lead role of Joel Fleischman in the award-winning television show Northern Exposure from 1990-1995. Afterward, he starred in the critically acclaimed film, Quiz Show, asDick Goodwin, a Congressional investigator intent on uncovering the corruption behind the 1950s game show scandal, and played Albert Brooks' sports agent brother in Mother. At one point, he was slated to play the protagonist in the 1996 film version of The Island of Dr. Moreau, but he dropped out of the project and was replaced by David Thewlis. In 2000, he directed and starred in Maze, about an artist with Tourette syndrome.
In 2002, he played Kevin Hunter on the Showtime television series Street Time. He also appeared in the TV movie Custody. In 2007, he played Jack Nicholson's doctor, Dr. Hollins, in The Bucket List. From 2005 to 2010, he starred with David Krumholtz and Judd Hirsch inNumb3rs on CBS. On March 8, 2010 it was announced that Morrow has signed on to star in Jerry Bruckheimer's new series The Whole Truth.[4]
